We learned that insects have a head, abdomen, thorax, 6 legs, 2 antennae, eyes, wings, and mouthparts. |
We counted the legs on various creepy crawlies to see if they are insects (6 legs) or not (more or less than 6 legs). |
We used magnifying glasses and microscopes to inspect and compare various insects and their body parts. |
We investigated how insects use camouflage for survival. |
We experienced some of the different ways insects use their mouth-parts to eat. |
We explored the life cycle of the butterfly. |
